Beautiful ancient interiors with carved wooden ceilings and doors, contrast appealingly with modern facilities, including gas central heating. Downstairs, there is a large entrance hall, off which is fitted kitchen, miodern living room with cosy fireplace. Upstairs, a large open space leads to the Lords' raised sitting area. Off this central area, are 4 bedrooms. Please note that due to historic design, 2 of the bedrooms are accessed through the other two. Also, 2 of the 8 possible guests will use sofa bed in upstairs living area.

The Lord's house is right in the middle of the town of Samokov - the gateway to the Bulgarian "Alps", the Rila mountains. You can see one of the Borovets ski slopes from an upstairs window, about 9kms away. A short journey in one of the many local yellow cab.
Being in Samakov town gives the opportunity to see and do things not available in the resorts "Village" at Borovets. Shop for bargains, visit the Samokov Convent and other ancient buildings, drop in to local bars and restaurants - there's even one next door to the Lord's house.Transport
